- You need 180 g of white cooking choc, melted.
- It’s 2 of eggs & 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten.
- You need 140 g of unsalted butter, melted.
- It’s 100 g of all purpose plain flour.
- Prepare 120 g of caster sugar.
- It’s 20 g of full cream milk powder.
- It’s 25 g of matcha powder (please don’t use a matcha latte mix as the texture’s of the mix is usually light, milky & frothy – you won’t get a strong matcha taste that’s ideal for this recipe).
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence.
- It’s 1 pinch of salt.

Sift flour, matcha, baking soda and salt together in a bowl. Beat brown sugar, butter and white sugar together in a large bowl using an electric mixer until blended; beat in vanilla extract, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy.

- Melt the white choc and butter (I used microwave, 30 seconds at a a time. Stovetop method is also fine). Set aside..
- Combine the rest of other ingredients (remember to sift the flour, sugar, milk powder and matcha powder to avoid lumps). Add the melted choc and butter. Give it a good stir. Then whisk until combine and lighter in colour (I used stand mixer, high speed for 5 mins)..
- Add the white choc chips into the mixture and stir..
- Transfer to a brownie pan that’s already lightly greased with melted butter/margarine. Into the oven for 25-30 mins. Let it cool before serving! Happy trying! 😉.
