Equipment

  • Measuring Utensils
  • 4x8 Inch Loaf Pan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Fork
  • Standing Mixer (Optional, Can Mix By Hand)

Ingredients

  • 3 Medium Bananas Overripe
  • Cup Vegan Yogurt Plain
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Cup Vegan Butter Melted
  • ½ Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¾ Cup Sugar Use MonkFruit Sweetener For a Zero-Calorie, Natural Sweetener
  • 1 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Pinch Of Salt
  • ½ Vegan Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F to prepare while making the vegan chocolate chip banana bread mixture.
  • Gather and peel the bananas, setting them inside the mixing bowl. With a fork, mash the bananas until they are smooth.
  • Into the mixing bowl with the mashed bananas, add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • With the mashed banana, vanilla extract, and melted butter mixture, add in the measured vegan yogurt. Stir until completely combined.
  • Add the baking soda, salt, and sugar to the mixing bowl. Stir thoroughly.
  • Now it’s time to add in the all-purpose flour. Make sure to really mix and stir well so that the mixture is evenly combined.
  • Add in the vegan chocolate chips and stir gently until the chocolate chips have been evenly sorted.
  • Pour the banana bread batter into the loaf pan and then place in the oven for 50-60 minutes. Use a toothpick to insert it in the center of the loaf to check if the banana bread is ready to be taken out of the oven. The toothpick should come out clean (some bare amount of dough or crumbs is okay, too!).
  • Remove the vegan chocolate chip banana bread from the oven once it is done. Allow the vegan chocolate chip banana bread to cool before serving!
