  • 1 yellow sweet onion minced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3-4 large carrots peeled and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cups of chicken or beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons of onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 2 tablespoons of water
